Hospital Beds in the United States decreased to 2.83 per 1000 people in 2018 from 2.87 per 1000 people in 2017. Hospital Beds in the United States averaged 4.77 per 1000 people from 1960 until 2018, reaching an all time high of 9.18 per 1000 people in 1960 and a record low of 2.77 per 1000 people in 2016.
