Regardless of Which Way Bernanke Panics Next, The Ending Won’t Be Happy

Once again the mainstream media boohooed over a false and misleading seasonally falsified industrial production number, bemoaning that the SA number was down 0.4% month to month in May. They are playing into the Wall Street mob’s desire for manna from Ben next week. It’s totally bogus, supported only by false and misleading SA data, not the real activity.

Zero Hedge has coined the term, LTRO stigma.  Who’dathunk?  Apparently the market is still lathered up that this signals more of this toxic poison, this time under the guise of “firewalls” (and not “ring fence”).  A firewall is supposed to be bullish? source; Zero Hedge Now that the Fed has added duration risk to its portfolio by unloading most of its zero to three years holdings, none other than Bill Gross is predicting the next phase of bankrupting the Fed and by extension the US Treasury.  The excuse for this one will be the familiar dynamite strapped “job disappointment’  caused by adjustments for weather conditions. The market is showing some disappointment at the small miss on payrolls which I had speculated yesterday was likely, although the seasonally fudged number came out higher than it should have.
