On Tuesday, after ten years of effort by all kinds of organizations, the very first Bitcoin ETF will start trading (symbol: BITO).
In anticipation of this momentous occasion, let us take just a moment and consider that:
- There is going to be an exchange traded fund……….
- which trades as an equity…….
- that is based on a futures contract…………
- that is based on a cryptocurrency….
- which is nothing but 1s and 0s.
- that is based on a cryptocurrency….
- that is based on a futures contract…………
- which trades as an equity…….
I think if we add just more one section to that multi-layer cake, by way of creating options for BITO (and you just know they will!) then our heads will all collectively explode at just how bananas everything has become.
