E-commerce revenue in Europe experienced a 20 percent increase in 2020 according to Statista’s Digital Market Outlook – double the pre-pandemic rise seen from 2018 to 2019. Revenues are forecast to exceed the $500,000 million mark by 2022.
In 2020, fashion was by far the largest contributor, with $130,450 million. In second place, electronics and media brought in over $95,000 million while toys, hobby & DIY were third at over $80,000 million.
