As the second, larger wave of new Covid-19 infections in the UK continues to grip the country and force the govenment to reimpose varying degrees of lockdown, the number of people in hospital with the virus is naturally rising, too. So far though, as this infographic shows, the figures have not yet matched the scale experienced earlier in the year. It’s a clear upward trend though, with the latest government figures revealing levels not seen since April/May.
