Malignant Uber

I think there should be something called “The Amazon Effect“, which is a delusion much of the public holds that, if only they could get onto some hot new IPO, they could make the fortune they should have made if they had bought AMZN when it came out. Thus, we get stuff like this from the Spring:

And yet, even in this totally fake, fabricated, propped-up market we live in, this is how UBER has treated its retail shareholders:

I guess the whole “losing a billion dollars a year” business model isn’t looking at clever as it did a few months back. One can only imagine how low this dog is going to go if equity markets are ever permitted to go organic again.
