The fact that Treasury supply is exceptionally light for this time of year would normally be a big deal for the markets, acting to support stock and bond prices. Not this time though. This is about what happens when a totalitarian government forbids the biggest players in its market from selling. Too bad for the rest of the world, in whose liquidity pool those China players also play.
