One More Addition to our Put Writing Portfolio – Paul Price – Market Shadows

Lindsay Corp. Looks Near a Bottom

By Dr. Paul Price of Market Shadows

We sold 1 contract of the Lindsay Corporation (LNN) March 2014, $70 put for $4.70 per share.

LNN quote & put - MS

Our best case would be to keep the $470 premium without the need to buy any shares.

We stand ready to purchase 100 shares at a net cost of $70 (the strike price) less $4.70 (the premium received) = $65.30 per share. LNN’s 52-week range has been $66.98 – $94.90. That places our ‘if put’ price at less than that yearly nadir.

The new position is now reflected in our Virtual Put Selling Portfolio http://marketshadows.com/virtual-portfolios/put-selling-virtual-portfolio/
