Market Perfectly Positioned For Big Move on Eve of Bernanke Dog and Pony Circus

The market is perfectly positioned for a big move as Ben takes center stage on Wednesday. New 6 month cycle buy signals on cycle screening measures are getting to a level suggestive of a new up phase, but they do not yet indicate a strong thrust that would have residual momentum after the initial upturn. That could come on Wednesday, depending on how the market likes Ben’s show. A launch on Thursday should have some follow through in ensuing weeks. A negative move on Thursday would suggest that the up phase would remain tepid. Wednesday’s action doesn’t count.
