My business (which is relatively trivial) returned about 55% on equity in last 12 months

We’re just getting started out, and it’s impossible to say what number is ‘more accurate’ than others – but 55% is about the middle of the road. According to a yearly summary the industry trade group puts out, the average return on equity for a business in my area is 43%.

My point is that, while risky and requiring personal involvment, YOU MAY FIND YOU GET A MUCH LARGER RETURN ON YOUR INVESTMENT IF YOU INVEST IT IN YOUR OWN BUSINESS, RATHER THAN SENDING THE MONEY TO WALL STREET. Plus, it’s a lot of fun.
