Posted Image A disappointing increase of only 54,000 jobs was accompanied by an unemployment rate for May of 9.1%, up from the previous month’s 9.0%. The consensus was for 9.0% and their own estimate was for 9.1%. The employment-to-population ratio is hovering around levels first seen in November 1977.
