Really enjoyed this film. The physics of collapse examined among the top tier, and the higher up you are, the greater the fall. Recommended.
The story centers on a year in the life of three men trying to survive a round of corporate downsizing at a major company – and how that affects them, their families, and their communities. Main character is living the American dream: great job, beautiful family, shiny Porsche in the garage. When corporate downsizing leaves him and co-workers and jobless, the three men are forced to re-define their lives as men, husbands, and fathers. Main character soon finds himself enduring enthusiastic life coaching, a job building houses for his brother-in-law which does not play to his executive skill set, and perhaps the realization that there is more to life than chasing the bigger, better deal.
