The market was a little grumpy on the day after New Year, not to mention that it was grumpy even on New Year’s Eve. Talk about new and different! I can’t remember the last time the market made a turn of the year that was this ugly. Sudaca mentioned on the message boards at Capitalstool.com that it was the worst first day of the year in 70 years. I assume that’s true.
