I may be the only person here who reads the forums on a smartphone (Palm Treo) but the font used for the board makes words look kind of "spread out". I use a browser called Opera Mini that reformats the pages for viewing on a small display. In general, the new forum looks ok. But the font used result in a lot of spacing between the letters of a word. I thing the technical term is kerning. So the letters aren't as closely packed as they could be. Would it be too much to try another font?

I read the board also on my mobile. But it's just the regular browser.. don';t know the name. The phone is the Sony Ericsson W880i. I just used the lo-fi version and its great for mobile. It also gives the same feel as the old board..

Only thing I don't like is that you can't see who posted the topic on the first page. Maybe you could fix that..?

But the thing I miss with this board is the old layout. I think it was great you could see in one glimpse how many replies there where, what they where about, and who posted them(most important.).

Now I have to scan the topics..
"Socialism, like the ancient ideas from which it springs, confuses the distinction between government and society. As a result of this, every time we object to a thing being done by government, the socialists conclude that we object to its being done at all.
We disapprove of state education. Then the socialists say that we are opposed to any education. We object to a state religion. Then the socialists say that we want no religion at all. We object to a state-enforced equality. Then they say that we are against equality. And so on, and so on. It is as if the socialists were to accuse us of not wanting persons to eat because we do not want the state to raise grain. "

- Claude Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850), The Law.
