Why You Should Never Short Tofu

I like shorting stuff, but there’s one item I wouldn’t short with a ten-foot pole made entirely of tofu, and that is Beyond Meat:

Let’s see what we have here:

  • A stock at lifetime highs;
  • Not only that, it is poised to break out above its saucer;
  • About 45% of the entire float is short;
  • The borrow rate is about 150%
