Scraping The Bottom of the Barrel, Fed Names New Primary Dealer Nobody Ever Heard Of

Amherst Pierpont Securities LLC has been added to the list of primary dealers, effective May 6, 2019.

That brings the total to 24. 9 are US based. US share is slightly increased, but the Fed is still the central banker to the world, mostly Europe and Japan.  When the Fed makes policy, it’s more about them than US.
