UPDATE: 8:16 PM – My mother’s surgery has been delayed until Friday. I will be posting part 1 of the market update around 9PM ET (US) .
1:38 PM The market updates will not be posted this evening (Thursday 9/18). My mother, who is 92 and has Alzheimers, but still has her feisty personality and lots of fight in her heart, will be undergoing surgery to repair a broken hip suffered Tuesday. With her age and condition this is a high risk surgery, but the alternative–vegetating in a bed on morphine–is not something that we would want. Send us your prayers or healing energy, as the case may be. Thanks for your support!
