Bears Chat Moves to the Wall Street Examiner

Last night, at about the moment my beloved Phillies won the World Series, The Wall Street Examiner also experienced a big thrill when the folks at Prudenbear.com flipped the switch and we here at the Wall Street Examiner took over hosting the Bears Chat message board that had been at Prudentbear.com for many years.

When the folks at Prudent Bear granted us the privilege of hosting the granddaddy of bear message boards, the thought that came to my mind first was, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” So aside from a few required cosmetic changes, the board that has always been the foundation of that community will continue to be just that. Everything works exactly as it has in the past.

I know that change can be jarring and difficult, but it is oury goal to maintain as close to the same environment as possible to the one Bears Chat members and readers have always had. Having run message boards for 8 years at Capitalstool.com, I also know that there will be problems occasionally. We will initially depend on you to notify us quickly via this contact form should there ever be a problem on the board, whether technical or “personal”. I have also placed a prominent contact link in the left sidebar menu of the board. Hopefully any problems will be few and far between, but when they do arise we will respond as quickly as possible to keep the discussion flowing smoothly.

I want to thank all of the members of Bears Chat personally for allowing the Wall Street Examiner to host your community. I especially want to thank David Tice and Doug Noland, and all the folks at Prudent Bear and David W. Tice & Associates, LLC for the confidence they have shown in allowing The Wall Street Examiner to host this great community. We understand that hosting this community is a privilege and we will do everything that we can to earn the confidence  of its members and to support the community in any way possible.
And for those of you who are newcomers to our sites, please visit and enjoy our diverse message boards, where you will find some of the most knowledgeable financial commentators anywhere in the world! Namely, you!
