What is a cycle?
peak to trough to peak
OR
peak to trough?
ie. 180 degrees or 360 degrees?
My work is an outgrowth of the pioneering work on cycles by JM Hurst. His nominal cycle lengths were measured from trough to trough. The indicators and counts that I use go beyond what he did since virtually none of the tools we have today existed 40 years ago when Hurst was doing his research.
